What you need to care for the kittens you found will depend on their age, health, and if Momma Cat is still in the picture.

If kittens are alone you will need the following supplies:

 

Bottle Babies (0-3 weeks)

  • Carrier Heating source (pad, Snuggle Safe, rice sock)
  • Blanket/Towels
  • KMR/Goat’s Milk
  • Bottle
  • Kitchen Scale
  • Miracle nipple (if kitten rejects standard nipple)
  • Karo syrup

Gruel Babies (3-5 weeks)

  • Carrier, Crate, or Pen
  • Heating source (pad, Snuggle Safe, rice sock)
  • Blankets
  • Metal bowls
  • Wet kitten food
  • Dry kitten food
  • Small litter box
  • Scooper
  • KMR/Goat’s Milk
  • Bottle
  • Kitchen Scale

Weaned Kittens
