- How we help
Cats need your help! You may have read that the City of Los Angeles is considering a new proposal to implement a Citywide Cat Program that would provide funding and support to community groups that engage in spay/neuter, trap/neuter/return (TNR), education about community cats, and outreach programs for cats.
The final decision to approve the program or not, is pending an Environmental Impact Report (EIR), which is in process now, and includes an opportunity for public comment. There are some powerful and well-funded groups that are opposed to the implementation of this type of cat program which is why we need your voice to be heard in support of the "Cat Program".
Please take a few moments to email the City of Los Angeles telling them that you support the 2017 Citywide Cat Program.
We Need Your Voice! || LA Citywide Cat Program
Whether your home is small or large, or you live alone or have other animals, there is a cat or kitten who you would help by fostering them. We have so many cats and kittens in our care who we have rescued, but often they are in a cage or being boarded at a vet because there is no place for them to go.
That’s why foster homes are so important – the more fosters we have, the more lives we can save. If you’ve never had a cat or don’t know if they will get along with your existing animals, you have nothing to worry about. Our Adoptions team will guide you every step of the way, and are always available to help.
We hope you will consider fostering, whether you can bottle feed a newborn, give medicine to a senior, or just give lots of love, there is a cat or kitten who needs you.
