Our Care for Community Cats program is helping free-roaming cats, because every cat’s life is valuable.

Care for Community Cats provides for the care and management of community cats in and around South Los Angeles by conducting targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR) in South Los Angeles neighborhoods, supporting trapping efforts, and providing expert guidance to members of the public on related issues. Through our online hotline, we support existing and self-identified community cat care givers in South Los Angeles by coordinating cat food provision and connecting community members with other low cost medical resources.

In 2020, our hotline served 3,680 people and helped just over 15,000 cats and kittens. With community and corporate support, we provided 38,078 meals for community cats, a 334% increase over 2019!
