Emily is doing GREAT
Despite being told at one point by our vets that Emily's chance of survival was slim, six days after being hit by a car, and still in the vet hospital, Emily began purring up a storm, rubbing, scampering and meowing. We were over the moon. Although permanently blind, Emily's love of life is 20-20!
She loves to sit on her foster mom's lap and purr purr purr.From Emily's caretaker:
We are a little embarrassed to say that we were so focused on getting Emily back to normal, giving her a good life, that we forgot to check if she was spayed. Well, 4 weeks after we found her, Emily gave birth to 3 healthy kittens, much to her foster mom's shock. We at Stray Cat Alliance insists on fixing cats as soon as we get them (if they are healthy) but because Emily was in such a delicate state, it didn't cross our minds.
