It's All About Love...

Dear Sweethearts:

Heartfelt hugs to you, our amazing friends, this Valentine’s Day!

Sweet news!  We have a sponsor for our next spay day, which is this coming weekend, Feb 15, 2009!  The sour news is the economy, which, as you may have suspected, has resulted in a significant drop in donations.  Currently, our donations are down more than 40%.  But we have some important needs now, so if you can possibly send a donation today, you’ll forever be in our hearts – and in the hearts of our special-needs kitties:

 BillyAdopt

Young, brave, loving and deaf, Billy needs a loving permanent home with a mom or dad who will keep up with his twice-daily eye drops – at a cost of $100 per month. If you can't take Billy home, perhaps you can send donate towards medicine and food each month?

ApolloAce
Adopt

APOLLO and ACE are healthy and happy together, but they remain feral.  They need a wonderful backyard in a predator-free area, along with some nice shelter.  Won't you give them a home?  They are fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and have tested negative for diseases.

Devon & WillowAdopt

Found in a dumpster, DEVON and WILLOW needed medical care.  We’ve gotten that for them, and now, these beautiful, happy, healthy youngsters need a loving forever home.

Your donations to Stray Cat Alliance are put to immediate and wonderful use – for exactly what you intend – to help needy animals, who will in turn

Luv U

BREAKDOWN OF EXPENSES:
Single spay/neuter at a local vet: $50

This is a small sampling of all we do, but it’s an indicator of the costs we face.  Now, with the prospect of a state tax applied to veterinary visits, we face daunting increased costs – with fewer donations.

In the end, the expense is so worthwhile as we save and improve the lives of homeless and feral cats. Please think of us this Valentine's Day.
